My Story

It was in my teen years when I developed a negative relationship with my body and with food. I lacked all confidence and sense of worth. I would over exercise and under eat even to the point where I wouldn't even drink water.
My obsession with my body image drove me to an eating disorder called bulimia nervosa. The guilt I developed after a binge drove me to make myself sick. This is something I have never spoke about before, until now.

I did manage to get my eating disorder under control, I'm not completely sure how long it went on for but in the end, I knew what I was putting my body through wasn't the right thing to do.

A year prior to having my son,  I found out I had PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) the only thing I associated with PCOS is the difficulty getting pregnant I didn't realise another one of the many symptoms was weight gain and difficulty losing weight, It wasn't until I was further into my journey that I done more research I was able to figure out what did and didn't work for my body. The nutrition side of things had to be altered to suit my PCOS.

My true love for fitness come in January 2016 when I started exercising from home, 9 months after having my son. During pregnancy I ate 'for two' and didn't move enough so I had some weight to lose to make me feel comfortable in my skin. The more I moved, the healthier I wanted to eat. My bad habits of continuously eating processed junk foods started slipping away. I started to see my body change. The more I invested in myself and my health this new found confidence grew.
Over the years I have completely fell in love with all things fitness. This passion became intoxicating. I wanted to share it with others and help change lives like I had been able to do for myself.

I qualified as a personal trainer also an indoor cycling instructor and started working in an all ladies gym taking group fitness classes and personal training sessions.

I become a personal trainer to help and empower people to transform not only the way they look, the way they move, but most importantly, the way they feel about themselves.

My journey has taught me so much, not just about my body. It has taught me the value of moving and eating well.
