⭐️Does stepping on the scales feel like a daily battle?

How often does the number on the scales affect your day?

You know what i mean...

Waking up in the morning you head to the bathroom, then stare over at the torture machine in the corner...

THE SCALES 🤣

Yesterday they were nice to you...1lb down. YES!

Today you jump on, close your eye, cross your fingers and hope for the best. But you've put on 2lbs!!

You are in a constant war with the scales and its a war you're losing!

On it's own, the scales are a poor predictor of progress. There are so many variables that could affect your weight, you have to expect it'll go up and down all the time.

So here's what you to do:

1. Don't get carried away by day to day changes.

(keep a level head, even when you step on the scales and see a massive loss)

2.Record your weight frequently, but look at the weekly averages as a better indication of progress.

3. Use other indicators of progress - Take measurements regularly. Take progress pictures. Judge if your clothes feel a little looser. These are GREAT ways to measure progress.

Lesson here is don't get too attached to weight. It will go up and down. But it doesn't mean you failed.

Consistently adhere to your calorie deficit and you'll win the war 😘
