It's NOT all about losing weight.

You're getting stronger and adding lean muscle tissue.

You have more energy; you simply feel better.

You've made sustainable lifestyle changes and built habits that will serve you for the rest of your life.


❌ QUIT STARING AT THE SCALES ❌


That's not to say it's not a useful tool (it is)

The problem with weight loss is it's zigzaggy trip down.

You weight will fluctuate often ~ day by day especially, and even week by week.

▪️ Sometimes you've gained muscle and lost fat.

▪️ Sometimes you are retaining water.

▪️ Sometimes you have weighed in before your morning dump 💩.

The scales can be deceiving especially if your weight training.


⭐Focus on a few key areas⭐:


1️⃣. Where you started and where you are now.

If your weight is coming down in the grand scheme of things, great. The slower you lose the more likely it is you will maintain your weight loss ~ that's a huge benefit.


2️⃣. Other markers of progress.

The way you feel, your energy levels, the way your clothes fit, your confidence...DON'T IGNORE THESE OTHER SIGNS OF PROGRESS❗
