💧WATER IS ESSENTIAL, BUT YOU ALREADY KNOW THIS💧

our bodies are 50-60% water depending on your gender, which basically makes us a human cucumber! When you drink enough water you function better, it improves your mental and physical performance, aids digestion and increases your energy levels. It also helps to fight cravings as we often confuse thirst with hunger. Warning signs that you’re dehydrated can include dark-yellow strong-smelling urine, feeling sluggish and light-headed and having a dry month.

Next time go to the toilet check to see what colour your urine is. The general guideline recommends drinking 1.5 litres a day, which is a great place to start. However, your overall intake will depend on several factors, such as your height, age, weight, energy expenditure, diet and the temperate. The more active you are, the more you should drink. As you lose fluid, try to replace it by drinking more water and eating fruits and vegetables with a high-water content, such as celery, bell peppers and watermelon.
